September 03, 1930 Interior Designer Widowed 1
Hello to you all! YES, the years to fly by but I am still up and running and wish the same for each of you....  After our  59 graduation, I headed to Colorado for college. Then returned to San Jose State. Returning to marryImy Sequoia sweetheart, Allen Secrest class of 57.  We both moved on ,one would say some years later. But to this day remain friends...One wonderful daughter Monet who lives still in California. Three grandsons.. My life has been full and busy and continues to be.... During the mid 70's I worked as a Commerical designer in California. During the Late 70's I owned and operated a Medical Gas Manufacturing company that  designed Nitrous  Oxide gas systems.. OR "laughing Gas" as SOME of you might recall. It was a long and sucessful run that lasted for 16 years. During that period in 1983 I met and married my second husband, Dr Donald Dana.  We had a wonderful  20 years of adventure. He passed away in 2002.... I returned to the field that I loved which is Interior Design. For the past 9 years I have worked full time and continue to do so.. With a partner I own an  Interior design  firm in Scottdale  Az. Smith & Dana Associates. It continues to keep my life full of challenges, active and enjoying life. When I am not working I am blessed with good friends, golf, still some tennis to keep the "bones" moving. I look so forward to seeing  all those wonderful faces at our reunion that are alway close and dear to my heart..  Years perhaps away but alway remembered..What wonderful years!!! See you soon ... What matters after 50 years?  Got married eight days after graduation to "love of my life" Dave Greer (class of '56).  Still married to him!  Have two sons, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and more to come . . . . . Moved to Pacifica, then Sacramento for 28 years, then to Texas (in 1997) upon retirement.  Love Texas!  We did spend two weeks in Sacramento, Folsom and San Francisco (where I was born) during June for our 50th anniversary celebration with our California family members.  Will be unable to attend reunion.  It's nice to see what everyone has been doing. I have been following all of this for some time and am very impressed by all the committee has done. Thank you very much.

I have retired twice - really - and still enjoy working part time.

We enjoyed the get together in 10/08 and are looking forward to seeing all of you in October.
